Our newest family member

Well, after having Molly for a few weeks, we just had to keep her. She is now a permanent member of the Schroeder household! She and Jake the Cat are getting along great- mostly because she understands that Jake runs the house. She is definitely fitting right in!

Lewis and Clark Half Marathon- DONE!!

Today, we ran the Lewis and Clark half marathon in scenic downtown St. Charles. We had a good time (even through thoughts of wondering WHY we were doing it...), and even got a second medal for running it because we ran both this one and the Go! St. Louis half!! One of our favorite parts of the whole day was getting to eat the banana pops at the end of the race, along with the celebration at Dave and Busters afterward! We don't know just yet when the next race will be... but we'll be sure to keep everyone posted!

Our new foster puppy!

So anyone who knows us knows that when we see an animal we love, we have trouble passing up giving them a good home. That's what happened today... We visited Pet Smart and saw a nameless, homeless puppy- and decided to give her a good home... at least temporarily! We have named her Molly, and she is 1 1/2 years old. We think she is part Beagle and either part Cattle Hound or part Lab. She is very sweet, and is very smart- she doesn't bark (yet...) and she loves to snuggle. We are really loving her!
